ISEP

ISEP, International Student Exchange Program, is designed so that students exchanged throughout the ISEP network pay all of their fees, including room and board, to their home institution and take up a place at a host institution, with no money changing hands. Exchanges can occur at any tertiary academic level and in any discipline and can range in length from one academic term to two.

Each ISEP member has its own application procedure and calendar and selects its own nominees for ISEP. ISEP requires that applicants be enrolled (and in good academic standing) at an ISEP member institution and have completed at least one academic year of study recognized by the member institution prior to the exchange. Your institution may have additional criteria for study abroad or participation in ISEP.

HOW TO APPLY:

   1. Is your institution a member of ISEP? Only students at ISEP member institutions are eligible for ISEP exchanges. If you do not know if your institution is a member, please check the membership list, please see http://www.isep.org/about/members_intl.html

http://www.isep.org/about/members_us.html

   2. Make an appointment with the ISEP coordinator on your campus, or with your Office of Study Abroad. Your ISEP coordinator is your primary contact with ISEP and will advise you on the application process. Students do not directly submit their applications to ISEP; the ISEP coordinator on your campus will forward completed applications to ISEP.

   3. Your ISEP coordinator will provide you with an application, or you can fill in you personal information on the downloadable application forms, print them out, and take them to your ISEP coordinator.

Please see www.isep.org for more information.

The Åbo/Turku Consortium

The Åbo/Turku Consortium consists of three universities located in the same city: Åbo Akademi University, the University of Turku and the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration. The universities are located on adjacent campuses, within walking distance from each other. ISEP students register at one of the three universities and can choose from courses taught in English in over 40 different subject areas. Please see www.iuta.org for courses.
